Dog Walker and Pet Sitting Information
Our dog walker and pet sitter information provides approximate pricing for the dog walking and/or pet sitting services you need which will be quoted during your initial phone conversation with our office. After we meet you, we will finalize the rate depending on the number of pets you have and the amount of work required.
During our initial interview, a Pet Watcher will meet in your home with you and your pets in order to find out pertinent information about the medical history and behavioral habits of your pets, their present condition and care needed in your absence, plus information about the security of your home.
All animals must be current on rabies, major vaccinations, and heartworm checks. You must provide proof of vaccination at the time of the initial interview. If you are unable to do so, we will check for verification with your veterinarian. ALL ANIMAL BITES WILL BE REPORTED TO THE APPROPRIATE ANIMAL CONTROL AGENCY AS REQUIRED BY LAW and you may be liable as a result. (See our contract regarding bite policy.)
Please try to make all reservations for pet care at least SEVEN DAYS IN ADVANCE before you are scheduled to leave town. During the summer months it is best to give us additional notice. NEVER LEAVE TOWN WITHOUT CONFIRMATION FROM OUR OFFICE THAT WE CAN CARE FOR YOUR PETS!! We may be booked up for that weekend and unable to provide adequate care.
If you need pet care during any major holiday, PLEASE give us 10-14 days advance notice. Clients booking reservations at the last minute may not be able to get a reservation, or we may not be able to give your pets as much attention as you want.
If we receive less than 24 HOURS NOTICE from the time we would start pet care, there will be a $20.00 LATE RESERVATION CHARGE in effect, except for true emergencies.
If you are out of town and need to let us know of changes to your schedule, you should call our office as soon as possible. Please leave as much information as possible; name, vacation phone number, and changes needed.
PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATIONS WITH OUR OFFICE PRIOR TO LEAVING TOWN.
A fee of $15.00 (or more) per trip will be charged if we need to make trips to the store for food and supplies, and trips to the veterinarian for pet care or the drug store for medications. We encourage you to have ample supplies on hand for your pets.

Payment is preferred by credit card and we will keep your credit card information on file for future services. We accept the following Major Credit Cards: Visa and Mastercard.
Payment for Services
First-time clients will be required to have their credit card charged for two thirds of the total invoice 1-3 days prior to their day of departure and the balance to be charged 1-3 days after the day of their return.
Existing clients will be required to have their credit card charged for up to the total invoice 1-3 days prior to their day of departure.
New daily dog walking clients will be required to have their credit card charged for the first 2 weeks charges in advance. Thereafter their credit card will be charged twice monthly, 1-3 days before the 15th and 1-3 days before the last day of the month. At the end of each month a summary of the charges for that month will be mailed out to the client within 5 days.
There is a $75.00 cancellation fee if you cancel our services once the dates are requested and confirmed.
